Past IMPROWYS
IMPROWYS is an international conference held biennially since 2017, which aims to provide opportunities for researchers and engineers from all over the world to showcase their academic achievements and share their ideas in the fields of refining and oxide metallurgy, solidification process, metal forming and joining, and microstructure and mechanical performance. Significant advancements in all aspects of research, development, and applications shall be covered within technical presentations and posters.
The 1st International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) was held in Shenyang, China from Aug 11 to 12, 2017.
The 2nd International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) was held in SAN Antonio, America from Mar 10 to 13, 2019.
The 3rd International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) was held in Shenyang, China from July 26 to 28, 2021.
The 4th International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) was held in Shenyang, China from October 13 to 15, 2023
The International Metallurgical Processes Workshop for Young Scholars (IMPROWYS) at this conference has successfully held four sessions continuously in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023, while the China-Japan-Korea Steel Workshop for Young Scholars (SWYS) will be held for the first time in 2025.
